This place allows us to be in close contact with the Mother Earth and learn about the Buddhist practices while growing in our own Spiritual path.

I visited this place a couple days ago and they were in the process of setting up this beautiful statue. They have a partnership with Broward Wild Life Society and they created a habitat for butterflies, and they planted all kind of plants that are native to Florida and excellent to feed the butterflies.

I encourage everyone to visit this wonderful place towards spiritual enlightenment. It is very beautiful place and it is also a great place for meditation and well-being. 

They have a Meetup called Broward Lotus Sangha Zen Buddhist Group where you can find any event in this place.

Thai Buddhist Temple - Homestead, Miami-Dade

This is an amazing Spiritual Treasure in the middle of the Homestead's forest. If you decide to go you cannot regret your decision because it is beautiful and everyone speaks the language of acceptance, peace, love and oneness. 

I went with my daughter to explore this quiet and peaceful place. We really didn't plan to visit the Temple however we were in the area, so we took the opportunity to learn more about the Thai Buddhist Practice.  

This is an excellent place to learn to meditate "Vipassana Meditation", learn to chant, explore your inner self, bring silence to your mind, expand your wisdom, and experience peace. This is a Sanctuary. They also do silence retreats and other events.

We were very impressed with the hospitality and how this visit touched our hearts. The monk talked about the importance of love each other as a family. He said that when we travel to a country where we have family. Our family takes care of us during the visit and we experience joy sharing with them. When we travel and there are not relative in that country, we feel alone and we must be careful not to be lost. He explained that when we have a family, we are safe and now we are part of their family. My daughter is his nice and I am his sister, and because we are family, from now on, they will be always there to help us in our journey.

This new center is located in Davie, close to the Flamingo Garden. It was inaugurated in March 2016. It is a beautiful and peaceful place where you can enjoy their activities or just spend the afternoon having lunch or dinner.  In the front of the property you will find a plant’s nursery then the Sanctuary in the back. You will enjoy the view of the Bonsai Exhibition with the Zen Garden, the view from the restaurant to the lake and of course all the collection of flowers.

I spoke with Bob, who is a trial lawyer and also one of the owners; he mentioned that they will be expanding and growing the center in the near future to accommodate other services. He is also passionate about Bonsai. He teaches the Bonsai classes in the center every other Saturday in the month.  Next class will be this coming Saturday March 26, 2016.

They will be offering different classes and also rental space for outside activities (parties, events, seminars, etc.). I didn’t find any official writing material about the next events or future classes, so if you are interested then you should call them or look in their internet sites:
